Getting started

AlphaAgent is an operating system for agents that mirrors how a high-performing team works: a specialist grounded on your doctrines and policies that run at scale privately in your AWS account. AlphaAgent Studio is where you work with those specialists; read this the first time you open one.

Before you start: your administrator has assigned you to the deployment in the Organisations console (After the deploy) and you can sign in to your organisation's Microsoft account.

Steps

  1. Open the Studio address. Studio shows "Redirecting to sign-in…", then a full-page "Loading..." while your session starts.
  2. Sign in with your company login.
  3. You land on Home, or on the deep link you opened before signing in.

What you should see

Home shows a moving backdrop and a greeting ("Welcome to AlphaAgent", or a time-of-day greeting with your first name). Everything else is in the dock and the sidebar.

The dock (right edge)

One tile per area, top to bottom.

TileOpens
Agent ManagementYour agents: Agents. A fresh Studio has none.
WorkflowsMulti-step runs: Workflows.
AMPGsKnowledge graphs, Augmented Multi Resolution Property Graphs: Knowledge graphs.
Data ConnectorsDatabases, APIs and cloud accounts: Data connectors.
ChatConversations with an agent: Chat. On a fresh Studio its picker reads "No agents yet." with a Create an agent button.
InboxRuns that need you, are running or just finished; the badge counts them, 1 to 99, then "99+": Inbox.
Agent StoreCurated agents to copy: Agent Store.
LibrariesResource Stores shared with you and your pulls: Libraries and sharing.
DocumentationThis site, in a new tab.
ProfileWho you are, deployment details and Sign out (below).

Execution environments have no tile: open Agent Management, then Environments.

The sidebar (left edge)

Expand or collapse it with the toggle at its top. Its entries follow the open area: Agent Management (Agents, Environments), Workflow Management (Workflows), Agent Store (External Agents), Libraries (Resource Stores, My Pulls), Data Connectors (Connectors), Augmented Multi Resolution Property Graphs (AMPGs; inside a graph, ← All AMPGs and Details) and Chat (Recent Chats, which loads five more each time you reach its end). The footer holds a Home button, your email address and the Studio version.

Standard or governed

On a standard deployment Home reads "Standard deployment · your resources are yours": what you create is yours until you share it. On a governed deployment a strip on every screen reads "Governed deployment · resources are shared by everyone assigned": everyone assigned shares every resource and can open every user's workspace files, while your own files land in your own folder (Working in a governed deployment).

Profile and sign out

  1. Click Profile at the foot of the dock.
  2. Signed in as lists Name, Email ("Not provided by the sign-in provider" if none was passed), Username and User id; change them at your sign-in provider.
  3. Deployment lists Resources ("Personal resources" or "Shared resources"), Version and Licence: "Active", "Checking…", "Not activated", "Not reported", or "Blocked" in red with the Service halted message.
  4. Click Sign out. The window reads "Signing out…", then the sign-in page follows. Runs you started keep going.

Notes

  • Studio has no roles, passwords, multi-factor or settings screens of its own: your administrator decides access, your sign-in provider owns your identity.
  • Old addresses still work: a knowledge-bases bookmark opens the same graph under knowledge-graphs, a workspace address opens Chat. A page reading only "404" is an address Studio does not know; use the dock.
  • The sign-in page refuses you or loops: you are not yet assigned to this deployment. Signed straight back in after Sign out: your organisation's session is still live in this browser; sign out of it too, or use a private window.
  • "Sign-out failed": try again or close the tab. "Signed-in identity unavailable": the sign-in provider returned no user record; sign out and in again, then tell your administrator.
  • "Your session has expired" or a coloured strip across the top: see Banners you may see.
